Chi Alpha is a university and young adult community partnered with King’s People, serving students at Iowa State University and college-aged young adults in Ames who desire to encounter God and grow in deeper relationship with others.
Chi Alpha exists to help students and young adults encounter the presence of God, grow in Christian community, and respond to the reality of the gospel in everyday life.
Weekly Gatherings
Each week, Chi Alpha gathers students to worship, learn, and connect together. Our aim is for every student to experience the presence of God for themselves in community and respond to the reality of the gospel in their lives.
Regardless of cultural background, life experience, or denominational background, Chi Alpha’s weekly gathering is for students who are seeking and eager for more of God.
Small Groups
We believe every person should have the chance to be known personally within a Christian community.
Small groups of Chi Alpha students meet throughout the week across campus and the city. In small groups, students develop close friendships, study God’s Word together, and experience more of life in God.
Small groups have been catalytic in the spiritual maturity of many students, and we encourage any university student or college-aged young adult to join one.
