We Exist That All May See Jesus
And God's plan has been to reveal Himself to the world through His people - people redeemed by a King and set free to live for His eternal purposes. The King's People is a church community in Ames, lowa seeking to devote themselves to the ways of Jesus and make Him known in our region.

King’s People exists to behold Jesus and make Him known.
God has called us to this region to be a people devoted to His presence, His Word, and His mission.
When we worship, we look to the One who meets His people with His presence.
When we pray, we look to the One who gathers with those who seek His name.
When we proclaim the gospel, we lift up Jesus Christ, crucified and exalted.
When we live in community, we reveal Him as His Body in the world.
Our desire is simple: that all may see Jesus.

The modern church is in need of believers that take seriously His command to love Him with all that they are. We have lost something that prior generations have embraced which is faithfulness, waiting on the Lord, commitment to a community, and the authentic fire of God that changes people. So our desire is to create an environment in the local church where individuals can come and be immersed and transformed in His
Presence.
Meet
Drew & Tanya Meyer
Drew and Tanya Meyer have called Ames home since 2011 and have been leading King’s People since 2017.
Their heart is to see people encounter Jesus, find hope through the local church, and discover how their lives can carry the presence and purpose of God into the world.
Together with their four children, Brice, Luci, Addison, and Quinn, they are committed to building a church where all may see Jesus.
