At King’s People, we want every child to experience the love of Jesus, learn God’s Word, and feel safe while parents participate in the Sunday gathering.

What can parents expect

King’s Kids is designed to provide a safe and age-appropriate experience for your child. All volunteers are background checked and trained so your child is cared for well.

During the gathering, volunteers are present to support classrooms, assist teachers, and make sure children’s needs are being met.

Each child receives a name tag with a parent or guardian verification code. Guardians must provide the matching tag in order to pick up their child. No one is allowed in the kids space without proper identification and reason.

What Curriculum Is Used?

We write our own curriculum based on convictions that help guide children toward the person of Jesus and how He calls us to live.

Each lesson is crafted from God’s Word and applied to everyday life. Kids learn about missionaries our church supports, create fun and engaging crafts, and sing worship songs they can understand and participate in.

Will You Let Me Know
If My Child Needs Me?

Yes. Our cry-time policy is ten minutes unless otherwise specified by parents.If your child needs you, we will text you or come find you.

Nursery
(6 weeks to 2 yrs)

In our youngest rooms, we strive to create an environment that is calming, loving and safe. Your little ones will be prayed over, interact with God’s Word through sensory play, and hear simple truths from God’s Word. Our nursery volunteers understand the importance of prayer and seek to make this classroom a place to speak life over your little one.

Early Childhood
(3 yrs to Kindergarten)

In these lively rooms, we strive to create a learning environment that is appropriate to all the discoveries your young one is making at this age. Your child will hear a Bible story, worship alongside their friends, create simple crafts, and learn the foundations of prayer and God’s Word. They will begin to discover God’s great love for them and how they are part of God’s big story.

Elementary (1st-5th Grade)

In our elementary classrooms, we strive to facilitate real connections from God’s Word to your student’s life. As they grow through elementary years, they will become confident in God’s love for them and His purposes for their lives. Your child will have rich interaction with God’s Word through Bible stories and Scripture reading. Your child will learn to apply God’s Word and hear His voice through quiet time at the altar and age-appropriate small group discussions.
